Fitness is never just about fitness. It's about what it takes to show up. We set out to capture the "why" behind the routine. We leaned into raw textures and the gym's red glow, blacking out the windows to create a focused atmosphere.
About the project
This project went beyond typical gym testimonials. We interviewed five clients at this small, boutique gym to explore what fitness means to them—from family and inner strength to community and connection. The shoot was technically complex, requiring us to control the lighting and environment to create a unique, intimate look that matched the vulnerability of the stories.
final results
The final set of testimonial videos perfectly captured the heart of the shoot: real, vulnerable stories of perseverance and community. These assets provide Todd Smith Fitness with powerful content that connects with its audience on a deeper, more personal level.
