Foundation for Blind Children
Seventy-five years of impact deserves more than a retrospective—it demands a living archive that honors the past while illuminating the path forward. The Foundation for Blind Children has transformed countless lives since 1951, and our team was entrusted with the profound responsibility of documenting this legacy.

About the project
The Foundation for Blind Children's 75th anniversary called for something beyond traditional documentary filmmaking—it required a comprehensive historical archive that honors every era of their journey. Our team was tasked with producing a multi-episode docuseries that traces FBC's evolution from 1951 through 2026, weaving together the organization's transformative impact across generations. This ongoing project involves attending numerous FBC events to capture present-day moments, conducting in-depth interviews with key personnel who shaped the foundation's history, and unearthing archival materials that reveal how vision services and advocacy have evolved over 75 years. The challenge was creating a narrative that respects the foundation's legacy while showcasing its continued relevance and innovation in serving blind and low vision children today.
final results
The final docuseries will provide the Foundation for Blind Children with a comprehensive visual legacy that honors 75 years of service while positioning the organization for its next chapter. Each episode explores a different era or facet of FBC's impact, from early intervention services to educational advocacy, creating an emotional and historical record that demonstrates the foundation's enduring commitment to empowering children with vision loss. These assets give FBC powerful content for fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, community awareness, and organizational storytelling that connects past achievements to future possibilities—ensuring that 75 years of changing lives inspires the next 75.
"We are working with Look on a documentary series highlighting our 75 year history and we have been so impressed with how they are telling our story. The entire process has been smooth from pre-production, to production, to post. They are a fun, professional, and talented team."
